Bill Smitrovich, in the role of Simon's father, Matt, Bill Smitrovich plays a high-powered businessman who seems to care more about Simon's future career than his happiness. Bill has been seen in nearly 40 movies in all, is an accomplished stage actor, and appears regularly on television. His incredible versatility has led to a very busy career. Recently, he starred in the blockbuster AIR FORCE ONE with Harrison Ford and in the critically acclaimed TV mini-series, "THE 60's." He was featured in the blockbuster,INDEPENDENCE DAY, and had a lead role in Paramount's, THE PHANTOM. Other film credits include, THE TRIGGER EFFECT, MANHUNTER, and NICK OF TIME.
Bill was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children. An avid golfer, he originated and now hosts The Life Goes On Celebrity Golf Classic which raises funds for The Downs Syndrome Association of Los Angeles.
